Since 1987, Mr. Jammu has held senior business, technology and investment positions for several companies including, Jones Intercable, AT&T, Bell Northern Research, BCI Inc. and Nortel Networks After nearly two decades of international and domestic strategic business development, operations and investment experience in the telecommunications, cable and new technology sectors, Mr. Jammu turned his attention to angel investment.
Mr. Jammu’s experience in initiating and managing Corporate and private investments in excess of $1B, participating in $2B of mergers, acquisitions, asset sales and purchases (including all aspects of the process from initiating relationships to conducting due diligence, to implementing exit strategies), integrating over $800M in acquired operations and identifying and developing new business opportunities in excess of $100M, uniquely qualifies Mr. Jammu to lead Sona Capital’s effort to become a primer player in the equity markets.
Mr. Jammu’s most recent deals include a purchase and turnaround of two interconnect companies that were in need of capital investment, new management and additional clients. Today both companies have improved revenue streams with prospects of new growth annually.
Mr. Jammu’s academic areas include a Bachelors Degree in physics and one in electrical engineering from the University of Prince Edward Island and the University New Brunswick respectively and Executive Education at Wharton School of Business
Mr. Woodlee has over 30 years experience in business operations, business management, market management and investment strategy.
Mr. Woodlee was most recently a co-founder of the private equity firm, Sona Capital, Inc. In this capacity, he is responsible for the development and implementation of capital advisory services, procedures and operational issues, for all of Sona’ client projects, and management of some of Sona' key clients. Woodlee has been an innovator in the development and implementation of comprehensive capital analysis solutions for small and mid- sized companies.
Mr. Woodlee spent the early years of his career working in a variety of progressive management positions with AT&T, where he led numerous multi-million dollar operational cost studies, consulting programs, market management efforts and sales operations throughout the US. During his career, Woodlee has personally negotiated deals of more than $400 million in corporate sales for companies like, AT&T, NBI, and Oracle.
Mr. Woodlee has been a business advisor to numerous small and mid-cap companies over the past 15 year and served on the boards of many start-up and entrepreneurial ventures.
Mr. Woodlee attended Adams State College in Alamosa, Colorado, where he was a member of the Dean’s Advisory committee and elected President of his freshman class.
Through his career, Woodlee has been active in numerous community boards; March of Dimes, (Chair), NCAA Final Four Merchants Committee, First Night Colorado, The Urban League, The Alzheimer’s Association of Metro Denver, 9Health Fair (Chair), Volunteers of America and is currently a member of the VOA Program Committee.
